Future Newspapers on Trove

A list of future additions of local newspapers on Trove has been posted. While it is good to see four years, for World War I, of the Gippsland Mercury due on there, Victoria's list for 2012-2013 is fairly slim.
Which is why the Wellington Shire Heritage Network is attempting to raise funds to have the Gippsland Guardian (1855-1866) placed on Trove. This would take us back to the period before the Gippsland Times started in 1861.
But the real dream would be to one day have the Stratford newspaper, the Stratford Sentinel, from 1911 to 1916 online. Maybe one day we will go fundraising for that.
