The Roof is Finished
The roof is finished, and the scaffolding is gone. But the sun is permanently out whenever I am there. It is very difficult to get a good photograph when that happens.
We are rather busy - we will be reopening for the Avon Village Fair on 3 May. That happens all around us, and is a magnificent day.
Then we start planning to erect the side and front fence (Thanks to ESSO and Wellington Shire), and commission the Engineering Survey of the building (Thanks to Heritage Victoria).
We have saved the best of the corrugated iron from the roof for a side fence.
Oh, Yes. We are also about to have major maintenance work carried out on our trees - they are covered by the Heritage Overlay. We are funding that one ourselves - by selling a lot of scones and jam and cream on the Avon Village Fair day. Do drop in and join us.
