Catherine Maguire's side saddle
Today, during the Wellington Shire Heritage Network meeting at Dargo, Stratford and District Historical Society returned Catherine Maguire's sidesaddle to Dargo. It will now be held in the Dargo Museum.
Everyone was most impressed with this museum - more photos as soon as your blogger gets a chance.

Hi Linda, Janne Blacker here trying to comment on Maffra historical society blog and having trouble. Help!!!!! HB Hammond photographed my great grandparents Ernest and Minnie Garrett's "The Bee Farm" and was wondering if the negative was held in Maffra
Hi Janne, I think that blog does not allow anonymous comments, and you may not have been signed in when you were trying to comment.
There are only very relatively few negatives held for Hammond, and that is not one of them. :(
I can't seem to find out how to sign into that blog Linda. Do I need to be a member?

My understanding is that you just have to be signed in to blogger - however you usually do that.
